Founded in 1950, Greenhill School is the leading independent, coeducational day school in the greater Dallas area serving 1,276 students in grades Pre-k through 12. Greenhill School is a diverse community of learners that strives for excellence; values individuality; fosters a passion for learning; promotes the balanced development of mind, body, and character; encourages service; and instills a respect for others. Our core principles are honor, respect, and compassion.
At Greenhill School, students love learning. You see it in the enthusiastic faces of the Lower School children as they race to their classroom each morning, and in the way Middle and Upper School students passionately approach their studies.
We hold our students to high standards, but our nurturing, dedicated faculty create an environment where students embrace the challenges presented in and out of the classroom. In my mind, no school provides a better balance of program in academics, arts and athletics. Expectations of excellence in all three areas give students the best and broadest foundation, while allowing them to excel in their strengths.
At Greenhill, we celebrate individual differences. Our community is a dynamic blend of cultures, backgrounds and genders. Our curriculum integrates multiculturalism and diversity in each class, preparing our students to actively engage in our increasingly connected world.
Greenhill is a unique place and I say that not only as the Head of School, but also as a parent of a recent graduate. The honor, respect and compassion instilled in each student, combined with the balanced education, fully prepare them for success throughout their lives.
I invite you to come visit us and experience the Greenhill difference for yourself.
