    Theatre Y was born out of the collaboration of playwright Andras Visky, Director Chris Markle and actress Melissa Lorraine on Visky's play "Juliet" which has toured internationally for the past six years and recently returned from performances in Italy and Serbia...The company is based in Chicago but has its roots in Romania, where it frequently travels to perform, study and develop new plays with playwright Andras Visky.

    Theatre Y creates poetic and visceral theater, mines the contradictions of the human experience, and challenges audiences to find universally shared meaning.
